In these Terms, “WorkConnex”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to WorkConnex Global Recruitment Pty Ltd (ABN 31 682 348 803). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Website Use
You may use our website to browse jobs, register for work, submit staffing enquiries, and learn about our services. You agree to use the website lawfully and not in any way that damages, disables or impairs it, or that interferes with any other party’s use of it.
2. Eligibility
To register or apply for work through our website, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the minimum legal working age for the relevant role) and legally entitled to work in Australia. Employers and host organisations must be authorised to act on behalf of the organisation they represent.
3. Employer Responsibilities
Employers and host organisations that use our services agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about roles, worksites and requirements
- Comply with all applicable workplace, work health and safety, and anti-discrimination laws
- Provide a safe working environment, induction and supervision for workers
- Approve timesheets accurately and promptly
- Meet the commercial terms agreed for each engagement
4. Job Seeker Responsibilities
Job seekers and workers agree to provide truthful and accurate information, to hold and maintain the qualifications, licences and clearances they claim, to notify us promptly of any change to their availability or eligibility, and to conduct themselves professionally and safely during any placement.
5. Accuracy Of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide to us is true, current and complete. We rely on this information to provide our services. Providing false or misleading information may result in the withdrawal of an application, removal from our database, or the termination of a placement.
6. Recruitment Disclaimer
Our website and services facilitate connections between job seekers and employers. We do not warrant that any job listing is current or accurate, that any role will be filled, or that any candidate will be placed. Job listings may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.
7. Labour Hire Services
Where we supply labour hire workers, the worker is engaged by WorkConnex and supplied to a host organisation, which directs and supervises the day-to-day work. The specific terms of each labour hire arrangement are set out in a separate labour hire agreement and assignment confirmation between WorkConnex and the host. We hold and maintain the labour hire licences and registrations required by law in the jurisdictions in which we operate.
8. Workforce Management Services
Our workforce management services may include rostering, timesheet management, compliance monitoring and reporting. These services are provided under the commercial terms agreed with each client and do not transfer any employment obligations to WorkConnex unless expressly agreed in writing.
9. Payroll Management Services
Where we provide payroll services, we process wages, superannuation, tax and related payments based on the information and approvals provided by the client and the worker. Clients remain responsible for the accuracy of approved timesheets and pay information. We are not liable for errors arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided to us.
10. Temporary Staffing
Temporary and casual placements are offered on an assignment basis. Assignments may end or change in accordance with the relevant agreement and applicable law, and we do not guarantee ongoing or continuous work.
11. Permanent Recruitment
For permanent placements, we introduce candidates to employers for direct engagement. Placement fees, guarantee periods and replacement terms are set out in our recruitment services agreement with the relevant employer.
12. Job Applications
When you apply for a role, you authorise us to consider your application, contact your referees, verify your credentials, and share relevant information with prospective employers and hosts. Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, a placement, or any particular outcome.
13. No Employment Guarantee
We do not guarantee employment, placement, or any particular outcome to job seekers, nor do we guarantee that any role will be filled for employers. Our role is to facilitate connections and to provide recruitment, labour hire, workforce management and payroll services.
14. Fees & Service Terms (Employers)
Our services to employers and host organisations are provided for a fee as set out in the applicable service agreement, quote or assignment confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, fees are exclusive of GST. Invoices are payable within the agreed terms, and we reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts and to suspend services for non-payment. Job seekers are not charged to register or apply for work through our website.
15. Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, and the WorkConnex name and branding — is owned by or licensed to WorkConnex and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or use our content without our prior written consent, except as reasonably required for your personal, non-commercial use of the website.
16. Acceptable Website Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes connected with genuine recruitment, employment or staffing needs, and in a manner that respects the rights of other users and third parties.
